And he who gives no heed to My Message,
Verily,  for him is a life narrowed down
And We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection.
“Lord,” he will say, “why have You brought me blind before You while (in my life-time)  I had sight?”
He will answer, “Thus Our signs came to you and you forgot them. So this day,  you are yourself forgotten.”
And thus do We reward him who transgresses beyond bounds,
And believes not the revelations of his Lord.
But the punishment of the life to come is more terrible and more lasting.
Is it not guidance to them, how many generations, in whose dwellings they go about, We destroyed before them?
Surely, in this, there are signs for men of understanding.
Had it not been for a Word which came forth (before) from your Lord, and a term (which had been) fixed, it (their punishment) would surely have come.
Therefore, bear with what they say.
Give glory to your Lord before sunrise and before sunset.
Praise Him in parts of the night and at the two ends of the day, so that you may be pleased. (With the reward which Allah will give you.)
(Sura Taha Verses: 124-130)

About the Hypocrites

O believers, believe in Allah and His Apostle, in the Book
He has sent down to His Apostle,
And in the Book He formerly sent down.
He that denies Allah, His angels, His scriptures, His apostles and the Last Day,
Has strayed far away. Those who accept the faith and then renounce it,
, who again embrace it and again deny it and go on increasing in unbelief
—Allah will neither forgive them nor guide them on the way.
Give warning to the hypocrites,
that there is for them a painful torment.
Thos who choose the unbelievers rather than the believers for their friends.

Are they seeking glory at their hands?
Surely, all glory belongs to Allah.

Da'wah of The Prophets and Apostles

Safar 1432 A.H,January 2011

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Here is a glimpse of the appealing call of the prophets and messengers to their people. Allah ta'ala tells the history of the struggle , that has been their mission in the Book of His, hopefully, InsyaAllah ,  we can too be included amongst  the people who learn the benefits , deriving lesson from it ,  Amen.

[1] The da'awah of Prophet Noah 'alaihisalam / greetings

Allah ta'ala said (which means), "Indeed We have sent Noah to his people, he  says: O my people, worship Allah, not for you to worship other than Him." (Surat al-A'raaf: 59). This noble verse shows that Noah's preaching is preaching unity.

[2] Da'wah of the Prophet Hud 'alaihis greetings

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "And to the 'AAD, which We sent their brother Hud. He said: O my people, worship Allah, not for you to worship other than Him." (Surat al-A'raaf: 65). This noble verse indicates that the  Prophet Hud was preaching monotheism.

[3] Da'wah of the Prophet Salih 'alaihisalam / greetings

Allah ta'ala said (which means), "And unto Thamud, We sent their brother Shalih ie. He said: O my people worship Allah, not for you worshiped other than Him." (Surat al-A'raaf: 73). This noble verse indicates that the preaching of the Prophet Salih was preaching monotheism.

[4] Da'wah of the Prophet Shoaib 'alaihisalam /greetings

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "And to the people of Midian, which We sent their brother Shoaib. He said: O my people, worship Allah, not for you to worship other than Him." (Surat al-A'raaf: 85). This noble verse indicates that the preaching of the Prophet Shoaib is preaching unity.

[5]
Da'wah of the Prophet Abraham  'alaihisalam greetings

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "Indeed there has been a good example in Abraham and the people themselves who were with him, when they said to his people: Surely we are quit of you and from everything that you invoke besides Allah. We deny you and have a real between us and you enmity and hatred forever until you come to believe in Allah only." (Surat al-Mumtahina: 4). This noble verse indicates that the missionary was preaching monotheism (of Abraham).

[6] Da'wah of All Apostles' alaihimusalam / greetings

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "Indeed We have sent to every nation a messenger who had brought; Serve Allah and shun Evil." (Surat an-Nahl: 36). This noble verse shows that all the apostles were preaching preaching monotheism.

Then what is meant by unity?

Tawheed, as has been described in the above verses is the worship / worship solely to Allah and not to associate anything with Him. This unity is constantly touted by the prophets and messengers to his people and who became the main objective of their mission. (see Fath al-Majid, pp. 15, al-Qaul al-Mufid [1 / 7]).

Essence of tawheed command is often repeated by the Almighty in the Qur'an in the context of diversity. Among these are:

[1] As he explained the purpose of human life and genie

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "It is I Who created the jinn and men but rather that they may worship Me." (Surat adz-Dzariyat: 56)

[2] When the Prophet Abraham 'alaihisalam  explain the charged dawah :

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "Remember when Abraham said to his father and his people, Behold, I am innocent of all that you worship, except from the Who created me." (Surat az-Zukhruf: 26-27)

[3] As he explained 'the motto of life' of a believer

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "Say: Verily my shaalah and sacrifices, life and death, everything belongs to Allah Lord of the universe, no partnership of  Him." (Surat al-An'am: 162-163)

[4] When forbids praying to other than Him

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "And do not pray to besides Allah, something which does not guarantee benefits and harms thee. If you do, then really you then are of those who do wrong. If God inflicted a hazard upon you, surely none can save you , except Him." (Surah Yunus: 106-107)

[5] When explaining errors in addition to those who pray to Him

Allah ta'ala said (which means), "And who is more astray than those who pray to besides Allah, something which clearly would not meet demand until the end comes." (Surat al-Ahqaf: 5)

[6] As he explained how the weak worship besides Allah

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "Do they want to ascribe God with something that can not create anything, while they themselves were created, they are not even able to give help to them / devotees ..." (QS . al-A'raaf: 191-192)

[7] When worship besides Allah censures

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "Everything that you invoke besides Him is not at all to master even as thin as the epidermis." (Surat Fathir: 13)

[8] When to the unbelievers, they explain the love that they worship

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "Yet Among mankind is he who raised worship other than Allah as equal ( with Allah ), they loved him  ( as their love to God )." (Surat al-Baqara: 165)

[9] When instructed to put their trust in Him

Almighty says (which means), "And should you trust in God only, if you really believe." (Surat al-Ma'idah: 23)

[10] While banning the acts of belittling His Apostles  Allah ta'ala says (which means), 'Be afraid of the people who
slander affairs with them, because they are crushed  or inflicted a painful punishment." (Surat an-Nuur: 63). Imam Ahmad explained that the reference 'defamation' in this verse is shirk.

The virtue of Tawheed

Here are some of the priorities of tawheed mentioned by the scholars, that may further encourage us to explore, practice, and call upon daawah.

[1] Tawheed - the secret of the  Al-Quran

al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir may Allaah have mercy saying, "... This is as stated by some scholars of the Salaf , al-Fatiha is the secret of the Qur'an, while the secrets of this letter is contained in the phrase
Iyyakana'budu wa 'iyyaka nasta'in' - Thee only we worship and Thee only we ask that you please-... " (Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Azhim [1 / 36] CET. the Dar al-Fikr)

Ibn Abil 'Izz al-Hanafi said, may Allaah have mercy, "al-Qur'an in that , all , mentions about unity, as well as the rights of return, and also spoke about the shirk as well as perpetrators and reward / punishment for them ..." (Sharh Aqidah ath-Thahawiyah, pp. 89 CET. al-Maktab al-Islami)

[2] Tawhid is a security requirement, and guidance

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "People who believe and do not interfere with the ruthlessness of their faith (shirk) that they will get their security and that will be given instructions." (Surat al-An'am: 82)

[3]
Tawhid is a condition of acceptance of deeds

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "Anyone who expects the encounter with God and let him do pious deeds and not associate anything in the worship of his Lord." (Surat al-Kahf: 110)

[4] Tawheed is because of luck

Allah ta'ala says (which means), "By the time, actually all people truly are in loss, Except those who believe, of pious charity, advising each other in truth and advised each other to carry out patience." (Qur'an - 'Ashr: 1-3)

[5] Tawheed is the key to paradise

Allah ta'ala says (meaning), "Verily he who ascribe the true God Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and where the return is hell, and nothing for those who do wrong that no helper." (Surat al-Ma ' idah: 72)

A Dream Come True

Safar 22, 1432 A.H, Thursday, January 27, 2011

Abu Ubaydah al-Khidramy

So many times I would hear about the Mujahideen and about their purity; and their noble characters and many times I would hear and see the news of the Mujahideen and their heroism, and I would ask myself: how do I reach them? Would it be possible for me to sit with them and be with them?!

This was the dream that enticed us, despite media (attempts) to obscure and spread rumors about (the Mujahideen). Indeed a significant matter and great calamity is the misguidance by some of those who claim to adhere to ‘Ilm by issuing disgraceful fatwas to the effect that “any of the Mujahideen” are corrupters on earth and they destroy homes and kill innocents. But I do not know which innocents they mean.

Despite all this, that dream was in mind as the days disappeared and events moved swiftly. The banner was becoming clearer every day and Paradise was receiving the martyrs. My days were decreasing and my life hastening onward as the shaytan with all his might and trickery to deter me from achieving my desired goal. But through the Grace of Allah, after it had been difficult for us to migrate to the lands of Jihad like Afghanistan, Iraq and Somalia, a front was opened for me, and it was one of the greatest battle fronts: the Peninsula of Muhammad, صلى الله عليه وسلم.

After Allah granted me the good fortune to join my Mujahideen brothers, I saw the wonder of wonders. I saw the brothers sacrifice their persons, their wealth and all that they possessed for their Lord. I saw the brothers who were humble to the Believers and hard upon the infidels. I saw brothers preferring poverty for themselves. I saw brothers rising in the night and fasting in the day. I saw brothers who loved one another. I saw brothers who possessed the qualities of goodness and piety: a great thing.

Amongst the beautiful qualities I perceived in them was following the guidance of Shari’ah in their Jihadist lives and in their dealings with their enemies. I felt a life of happiness and spiritual ease despite the fact I was far from my family and loved ones, but believe Allah Who says: “He who forsakes his home in the cause of Allah, finds in the earth many a refuge, wide and spacious: should he die as a refugee from home for Allah and His messenger, his reward becomes due and sure with Allah: and Allah is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.”And believe the words of the Messenger of Allah,
صلى الله عليه وسلم, when he said: “You must wage Jihad in the cause of Allah Almighty and Blessed, for it is one of the gates of Paradise by which Allah banishes concern and sorrow” (1). For rest; all rest, is to be found in jihad fi sabeel Allah to elevate the Word of Allah Almighty in order to achieve the desired dream and aspiration.

Finally, I advise myself and my brothers to praise Allah and thank Him for what he has bestowed upon us to serve His Deen. By Allah, how many of the deprived and the idle are shown that, in Jihad, it is Allah from whom we seek aid. And, my brothers, we must beseech from Allah steadfastness and dedication and that He destine for us Martyrdom head on and not from behind.

Qurbani & the Battlefield of Faith

Ibrahim (Alayhis Salaam) abandoned his life of solitude to confront a world steeped in tyranny and rebellion against Allâh Ta'aala. He boldly challenged the icons of power and openly denounced falsehood, which pitted him in a grim struggle against the barons of deceit, disbelief, evil, and injustice. He was ostracized by his father, banished from his homeland, flung into the fire by Nimrûd and physically threatened for raising the banner of truth. At every stage during this long and heart-rending struggle between truth and falsehood, Ibrahim (Alayhis Salaam) displayed the fortitude of a devout and obedient slave of Allâh who braved the unending flow of oppression and terror. He became a stranger within his own home, a refugee in his own country, and a dissident within the religious elite.

Nabî (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) has stated: "Islâm began in a strange manner, and it will revert to become strange again, so glad tidings to the Strangers."

Islâm began against a background of shirk, superstition, violence, immorality and oppression. The teachings and value system of Islâm seemed unnatural, queer, incompatible, dogmatic, and bizarre within the given social, political and economic context. Those who embraced the teachings of Islâm were thus viewed as strangers and had to pay a heavy price to maintain their identity and preserve their faith. The Holy Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) has prophesised that Islâm and Muslims would once again be subjected to the same kind of treatment. Muslims will be treated with contempt, viewed as strangers and misfits within the global context of emerging values. Muslims will once again have to experience Badr, Uhud, Hunayn and Tabuk. They will once again have to contend with the likes of Abu Jahl, Abu Lahab, the Hypocrites, and the Jews.

Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, Sudan, and Kashmir are but a prelude to this global onslaught against Islâm and the Muslims. How often have we heard Bush saying: "either you with us or against us." Coupled to this demand of joining the unholy alliance is the image portrayed of Muslims as blood thirsty, trigger happy, bearded fanatics ready to kill every infidel. Muslims are going to become increasingly unsure of their past and uncertain of their future. The very values and teachings of the Qur'ân are going to be questioned, ridiculed and labeled as fanatical, fundamentalist dogma. Allâh Ta'âla Says: "You shall certainly be tried and tested in your persons and possessions, and indeed you shall hear many hurtful things from those to whom revelation was granted before your time, as well as from those who have come to ascribe divinity to other beings besides Allâh. But if you remain patient in adversity and conscious of Him– this behold is from fortitude."

Qurbanî is not a cold ritual based on an ancient medieval fable. It is an affirmation of total submission to the commands of Allâh. The true spirit of Qurbanî demands that you align yourself with the "Strangers," embrace the Dîn whole-heartedly even if it is at the cost of your very existence. Qurbanî is an unwavering commitment to the following verse: "Truly my prayer, my sacrifice, My life and death, are all for Allâh; the Rabb of the Worlds."

It is not possible, to appreciate the spirit of Qurbanî without ever stepping into the battlefield of faith, without suffering, without passing through any stage of the struggle, without feeling pain and anguish. Allâh Ta'âla says: "We will certainly test you with instances of fear, hunger, a decrease in wealth, loss of lives and the fruits (of your toil)"." Nabî (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) has said: "The Ambiyâ were subject to the greatest of trails, thereafter those who are closest to them, thereafter those who are closest to them".

We need to reaffirm our commitment, revitalise our Imân, and understand that this Day is a grim reminder that life is a journey of trails and hardships, that Muslims are going to be treated like social lepers, that Islâm is going to be subject to derision and ridicule. Glad tidings to the "Strangers" who find refuge in Allâh and His Rasûl(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam)!

" Jerusalem In The Quran "

Introduction to " Jerusalem In The Quran " - Imran N. Hosein

In the thirteenth year of his mission as Allah’s last Prophet on earth, Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu ‘alaihi wa sallam)
was forced to leave his beloved city of Makkah and seek refuge in the distant Northern Arabian city of Yathrib (later
renamed Madīnah). He had to leave because pagan Arabia was waging unjust war on Islam. Today, once again, an
ostensibly Jewish-Christian but essentially pagan Euro-world-order is waging unjust war on Islam with the same venom
and fury with which it was waged by pagan Arabia.
When the Prophet arrived in Madīnah his long-awaited tryst with the Jews began. And today’s stage of ‘their’ war
on Islam marks the final chapter of that tryst. Islam emerged victorious from that first encounter, and it is as certain as
the day follows the night that Islam will again emerge victorious in this final encounter with which history will end. We
wrote the book entitled ‘Jerusalem in the Qur’ān’ in order to explain that subject and to refute all the false and devilish
propaganda against Islam with which those enemies have now inundated the world.
The Holy Qur’ān itself described the Jews as a people who believed that they were the “chosen people of the Lord-
God to the exclusion of all the rest of mankind” with privileged access to truth and that “heaven was reserved for them.” Yet
their hearts were entirely wedded to this world and they longed “to live for a thousand years.” Consider the following
verses of the Qur’ān:
Say: "If the last abode (i.e., heaven), with
Allah, be for you alone, and for no one else,
then why do you not desire death, if you are
sincere (concerning this belief)."
“But they will never desire death on
account of the (sins) which they have
committed, and Allah well knows those who
commit Dhulm (i.e., oppression, injustice,
etc.).”
“You will certainly find them, of all
people, to be the most desirous for (long)
life, even more so than those who worship
idols: each one of them wishes he could be
given a life-span of a thousand years: but
the grant of such a life-span will not save
him from (due) punishment. For Allah
sees well all that they do.”
(Qur’ān, al-Baqarah, 94-6)

Jihad Needs People Who Are Trustworthy

A Risaalah From Behind The Iron Bars
Mankind have different levels of iman, O my friends, sometimes iman can increase rapidly when there are honest people who are willing to provide motivations so that we can remain Istiqomah and keep on being strong through all the obstacles in this struggle. But there is also the opposite which can make our iman dwindle, the cause is the intensifying carnal desires, which give birth to the seedlings of Nifaq (Hypocrisy), which give importance to own selves than to others. Their integrity has been sold by their own carnal desires. The promises which have been engraved all these while, to unite with the Caravans of Mujahid, are only empty promises now. Supposedly all this happened due to the weakness iman, or the greed of the world has already enveloped their selves. To the point that, the path they had trodden could only reach as far as at the crossroad.

Hasbunallahu wa Ni’mal Wakiil….

Ikhwan wa Akhwati Fillah …

No human being is perfect, it's true. But we must always try to become the best human in the sight of the Creator, Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla

How to go about it:

* Be Istiqomah and patient in fording all the problems: no matter how big the problem is, there must be a way out. Man is unable to do anything without His permission. Let the evil people terrorize, make trouble, in fact even make you scared to fight, remember, Allah will always be with the people who are patient and Istiqomah.

From Abu Amr – some say Abu Amrah - Sufyan bin Abdillah Ats-Tsaqafi radhiallahu ‘anhu. He said, “O Rasulullah, tell me a word about Islam, which I cannot turn to others except you.” Rasulullah SAW said, “Say: 'I believe in Allah, then be istiqomah.” (HR Muslim)

How can you want Jannah, but are still unsure of what you choose, there are still this excuse and that excuse when the given mandate can not be done. We can only give excuses without bearing out results. Fearing the human beings more than fearing Allah. Wake Up Brothers…!!! Don't be a Munafiq.

From Abu Muhammad Al-Hasan bin Ali bin Abu Thalib, grandson of Rasulullah SAW and his favorite radhiallahu ‘anhuma, he said:
“I have memorized (the saying) from Rasulullah SAW: 'Leave something that doubt you into something that does not doubt you.' (HR. Tirmidzi and Nasa’i. Tirmidzi said: This Hadith is Hasan Saheeh)

Many chosen people of Allah have been Shaheed, many more of them will be Shaheed, but it is the path they have trodden that will bring them to Firdawsil ‘Alaa. Insha Allah..

May this bit of advice be able to serve as a mutual reflection for us all. Let's fix ourselves if there are matters of Khilaf (blunders) and wrong steps, while there is still time to fix it. Insha Allah.
